ACT 3 International Presents ‘Jelly, Wobble!’

It’s the June holidays! One very fun activity that kids can check out from now until 9 June is ‘Jelly, Wobble!’, an arts-filled programme by ACT 3 International. It’s a 2-hour drop-off programme for kids aged 4 to 8 and includes four key elements: interactive art exhibitions, show, drama workshop, and art-making activities.

Inspired by ‘The Jelly that wouldn’t Wobble’ by Angela Mitchell, each session is for a maximum of 45 children divided into 3 groups. The children take part in a drama workshop and make two different types of crafts before celebrating Princess Lolly’s 89th birthday and performing for her! We dropped Anya off for the 10.30am session and she was all smiles when we came back and so eager to perform her little dance and to show us what she had made.

Father’s Day at Conrad Centennial

I had such an awesome Mother’s Day this year so I was delighted that we could enjoy an early Father’s Day dinner treat at Oscar’s at Conrad Centennial. Adrian is a fantastic father to our three little ones and truly deserves a great Father’s Day meal. He’s very hands-on with the kids and takes such good care of them. Since I go to work so early, he’s the one who gets the kids ready for school every morning and endures peak hour traffic on a daily basis just to get them to school on time.

Adrian loves sashimi, crabs and other seafood so the buffet at Oscar’s was perfect for him! The dessert table did not disappoint either and I saw him indulging in  chocolate-coated fruits from the chocolate fountain, homemade waffles, and scoops of ice-cream. Even though it was supposed to be a Father’s Day treat for him, he still made sure the kids had their pizza and noodles and juice before he helped himself to what he wanted to eat.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father’s Day! (the kids were too interested in their Conrad bears!)

So my buffet strategy is quite simple: I start with some salad or appetisers (the burrata cheese was so good!), eat as many oysters as I want (so juicy!), then eat a whole bunch of prawns and sashimi (so fresh!) before checking out the more substantial items (loved the veal tongue!). Then I hit the dessert table. The delicious spread at Oscar’s left us very satisfied and it was a lovely way to celebrate Father’s Day. The kids are still talking about how much they enjoyed their dinner at Oscar’s!

There was so many different things to eat that I didn’t manage to take photos of everything. Check out part of the yummy spread available and scroll to the bottom for a 15% off discount code when you book the Father’s Day Brunch at Oscar’s or lunch/ dinner at Golden Peony. Happy Father’s Day in advance!
