On New Year’s Eve, we took the kids and one of our friends’ kids to Jurong Bird Park. They have an awesome SG50 promotion at the moment where you can get an annual pass for the price of a one-day ticket ($28 for local resident adult; $18 for local resident child/ senior citizen). It’s for a limited time only and I’m not sure when it ends but you can sign up online. So we are now Feather Friends of Jurong Bird Park!
The Lory Loft used to be one of our favourite bits of the bird park but it seems that the birds have gotten too good at eating the leftover food from the cups that are deposited in the boxes by the visitors. We couldn’t get any of the birds to eat our bird food! The kids really wanted to go to the wet playground at Birdz of Play but it is closed until 31 Jan so we really need to make another trip there next month.
After the bird park, we tried to catch some fish at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park but were wildly unsuccessful. It was a pretty fun experience though!
We have the same problem at lory loft! I think it’s slowly become “worse” over the few years. Maybe they are just selling too many cups of food a day. They should do something about it, because I feel cheated! Haha!
Yah, too popular already!
