Imaginary Friends Afternoon Tea at Pan Pacific

It’s been raining so much! Fortunately, there are still many indoor activities to look forward to. Pacific Marketplace at Pan Pacific has a delightful Imaginary Friends Afternoon Tea inspired by the characters from local author Melanie Lee’s quirky little book Imaginary Friends: 26 Fables for the Kid in Us.

I loved the Octopus Mirin Quiche with Bonito Flakes (inspired by Olivia the Overachieving Octopus) and Adam could not get enough of the Durian Puff with Spiked Meringue (created for Dan the Dowdy Durian Man). The Tea-Infused Chocolate Pralines (courtesy of Timmy the Tenacious Teabag) were so yummy too! The kids were also treated to an engaging book reading session by Melanie and Anya liked the stories so much that we bought a copy of the book on the spot.
