Anya’s music school has mini performances during each school holiday. Anya had her first solo performance back in June but refused to play for the September one because of some phase she was going through at that time. She wasn’t going to play for the December one either but suddenly changed her mind at the last minute and played Ten Little Indians accompanied by her piano teacher. Good for her!
She was the first one up to perform. Maybe her teacher was secretly afraid that she might chicken out before her turn if she waited too long. She did a good job and says she will perform for the next set of mini performances in March!
After her performance, we went to get a Happy Meal. Then we went to the taxi stand to get a cab home. There was a Caucasian man and his friend/ son in the queue before us and no taxis in sight. When a cab finally appeared, the man very graciously offered the cab to us. His act of kindness really made my day!
