It was raining on the day of the Ben & Jerry’s ChunkFest and we weren’t sure whether to go or not. We decided to drop by and the rain had stopped by the time we got there but the whole place was muddy and squishy. At least it wasn’t hot!
I forgot to bring my camera so had to use my iPhone to take photos. Good thing it was a pretty bright day. Adam was busy napping in the stroller but Anya headed for the bouncy castle at the first chance. The kids had fun bouncing around!
There was the usual Ben & Jerry’s merchandise for sale. I love their stuff because it’s so colourful and happy-looking! By the time we left, we had a Ben & Jerry’s iPhone case and a laptop case as well as the pair of slippers that was given to us.
ChunkFest 2013 was not just about having fun and eating lots of ice-cream! We were able to find out more about the good work being done by some of the Fairness Partners like Chris’ Cafe, Kerbside Gourmet, Dyslexia Association of Singapore, Blessings in a Bag and Project Happy Feet.
We definitely managed to have some fun and eat ice-cream. There were so many exciting flavours available that day! Anya also played some games and won a few prizes. It started raining again right before the event started so we left because we had to rush off back home so the kids could take their nap. I think the weather cleared up quite soon after though.
Would love to have fun again at ChunkFest next year. Hope the weather’s better then!
Yes hope the weather is better next year!! The icecream and cider were sooo good! Send me the bouncy castle pix :)
