Sand Play at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park #FrisoMoment

Whenever we get some free time during the weekends or the school holidays, I like to take the kids to the playground! Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is huge and has several playgrounds, both wet and dry, and we visited one of the playgrounds recently.

This particular playground looks really interesting. It’s mainly wood, metal and ropes, very different from the usual plasticky ones we see these days. We were actually on the bus on our way home when we went by the playground and we couldn’t resist getting off the bus to check it out.

It was a really hot day but the kids had so much fun running around, climbing up, sliding down and digging in the sand. The spider web connected to the slide was quite challenging and I climbed up with the kids a couple of times. I love the fact that taking the kids to a playground allows me to behave like a kid too. And I get some much-needed exercise in the process!
