After Anya was done with Doctor for a Day, we popped over to Novena Medical Centre across the road and had brunch at La Ristrettos. I’ve heard a lot of buzz about the place, mainly because it’s in such a unexpected location. The service could have been better and the drinks took a relatively long time to come, but it’s a nice, quiet place to hang out.

The coffee and food was very decent too. I was pleasantly surprised by the chocolate ice-cream in my iced mocha. I ordered Tostino E Arrosto in a blur and didn’t realise it came with roast chicken breast (which I don’t like at all!) but the chicken was very tender and flavourful so it was okay.
