Grub at Bishan Park

We made it to Grub on their first day of operation last Saturday. Even though they hadn’t announced their opening yet, it was packed to the gills! We waited about 20 minutes for a table.

I think they weren’t expecting such a crowd on that first day so we waited quite a long time for our food (about an hour) but the servers were very apologetic. The food at Grub is REALLY good and prices are very reasonable so it made the wait more bearable.

My personal favourites from that day were the pork belly and the churros. I’m still dreaming of that melt-in-the-mouth pork belly with the perfectly done crackling. I really want to go back again soon to try the other things on the menu although I’ll probably be tempted to order the pork belly again! We will probably try to be there for brunch the next time so the kids can play in the park before/ after our meal.

Grub is at Bishan Park (the Sin Ming Ave side) and you can find directions on their website. They are closed on Mondays and they open from 5.30-10.30pm from Tuesday-Sunday and also 9am-2.30pm on weekends and public holidays.
