I attended a Hokkaido Chiffon Cupcake baking class last Saturday with some lovely ladies from SMB. The class was conducted by Pauline and Louisa of Munch Ministry. They demonstrated the steps before letting us try on our own.
My partner was the very capable Ai and I’m glad she’s much better at baking than I am. We worked well together and went through all the steps quite smoothly. Our cupcakes looked really good and tasted even better than they looked! They were so soft and light I felt like I was biting into a cloud.
The cupcakes were very well-received by the husband and kids and I can’t wait to bake another batch of these Hokkaido Chiffon Cupcakes. You can try the recipe from Munch Ministry if you like. It’s quite simple and so satisfying (both the sense of accomplishment and the delicious cupcakes)!
Do check out the Munch Ministry website and their Facebook page for information on their cookery classes and to buy baking supplies. You may not want to do it on an empty stomach though because there are many pictures of delicious food!
