I signed up for one of the mt Everyday craft sessions held at the Central Public Library organised by The Little Happyshop and learnt how to make a personal silhouette from washi. While we were waiting for the session to begin, we were encouraged to use the many rolls of washi on the table to decorate whatever we wanted so I dressed up my Kindle cover and phone cover.
Our instructor, Katrina, brought us through the steps to make a personal silhouette with washi. It wasn’t very difficult but needed patience and attention to detail. I chose some Christmas colours but I think there’s too much gold in my final product. Can’t wait to try out what I’ve learnt and make silhouettes of the kids! Washi is ADDICTIVE!!

You have a lovely blog! I updated my post to link to your project.
Thanks for the link up! :)
I love the silhouettes!
Try making some! Quite straightforward. :)
Looks like a fun event! Your silhouettes look great!
It was really fun! Trying to do for the kids but so hard to get them to keep still so I can snap a profile photo of them.
very cool! love your jazzed up kindle cover too.
I love how my Kindle cover looks now! It was so boring before.
Thank you so much for this post : ) See you again soon!
Thanks for organising the session!
I think cutting the tape would be the hard part!
Have to be very careful when cutting especially with the small details like the eyelashes and hair!
