March Holidays: Batik Painting

I bought some DIY batik-painting kits from a batik workshop in Malacca late last year when I was there with students. Anya finally got around to painting them this week! I’ve seen these batik-painting kits at the convenience store in Holland Village MRT and also on Qoo10 for $5.50 each.

Anya’s not the neatest painter around and doesn’t bother to stay within the lines but the good thing about these batik kits is that they still look pretty good even when the colours are haphazardly chosen and applied.
